ABC juice, khichdi to avocado toast: Malaika Arora shares what she eats in a day

Malaika Arora, the fitness icon and Bollywood actor, has always been known for her dedication to health and wellness. Recently, she gave her fans a sneak peek into her daily eating habits by sharing a reel documenting what she eats in a day. The video not only showcased her love for wholesome foods but also highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition in her lifestyle.
From detoxifying juices to comfort food, here’s a look at what Malaika eats throughout her day.
Starting the Day with ABC juice
Malaika begins her day with a healthy dose of ABC juice—apple, beetroot, and carrot—with a hint of ginger. She explains in her video, “It’s 10 am and I am having my ABC juice. I start my day way early but at 10 am I have my ABC, which is apple, beetroot, carrot with some ginger.” Known for its detoxifying properties, ABC juice is packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber, making it the perfect way to kick-start her day.
Snack Time: Avocado toast with eggs
Around 12 pm, it’s time for Malaika’s snack, and she opts for a nutrient-dense treat—avocado toast. “Believe it or not, this is not bread, it’s made of avacado and there’s eggs because I need my protein,” she shares. Avocado toast has become a popular health food choice due to its healthy fats and fiber content, and with the addition of eggs, it provides a good balance of proteins and healthy fats—fueling her through the day.
Lunchtime: Malaika’s favourite comfort food – Khichdi
At 2:30 pm, Malaika breaks for lunch, and her go-to meal is a wholesome and comforting dish: khichdi. “My favourite khana is khichdi. I love it. With all the sabjis in this I think it’s wholesome in this weather, ” Malaika reveals. Khichdi, a traditional Indian dish made with rice, lentils, and vegetables, is a rich source of carbohydrates and protein.
Evening snack: Blueberries with cherries
At 5 pm, the Chaiyya Chaiyya staropted for blueberries and cherries as a snack. ‘I am having a fruit snack—blueberries and some cherries. They’re good and full of antioxidants,’ she added.
Recently, Malaika Arora and her son Arhaan Khan opened a chic restaurant in Mumbai called Scarlett House. Housed in a vintage Portuguese bungalow, it features cosy interiors and a menu blending healthy and indulgent dishes.
