2002 Yamaha V Star 650 XVS/A Classic
A beautiful cruiser bike that turns heads, with a smile and a wave, in my neighborhood.
It starts, runs, and shifts perfect and it does have a bit of a bark when you get on the throttle, that my neighbors think I'm on a big Harley, and it looks like it too.
No dents or major scratches. There is some oxidation of the clearcoat on the inside of the front shocks that doesn't show up in pictures. A little sandpaper and aluminum polish will fix it up easily. If you look hard enough you can find signs of ageing, as its NOT in brand-new showroom condition, after all, it is a 2002 with 18,000 miles.
It looks great and everyone compliments me on the bike,... but I will let the pictures do the description for you and then you decide. If you want more pictures, please let me know.
I noticed the close up pictures of the exhaust pipes look discolored, they are slightly, but when you view the bike they look like natural shiny chrome.
The bike has two mirrors, beautiful saddle bags (one has two small dings you can see in picture), front saddle bag, smart phone holder, throttle control, roll bars, special skull chrome rear foot pegs (awesome, ha), windshield, excellent tires and brand new highest quality Battery Plus battery. It has a drive shaft so forget about cleaning, oiling, adjusting and replacing chains and gears and no more chain slap. The shaft drive is really smooth and responsive.
I really love this bike and hate to sell it but its a bit bit too heavy for this 70+ grandpa with physical medical problems to handle safely, and I don't want to take a chance of dropping it.
