Description
This is an engraving from the 1800’s. The front shows monument square Baltimore with cook’s Boston light infantry with artillery in position to quell a riot because of the arrest of Marshall Kane. The back of the page has 2 more engravings titled drumming out the thieves from fortress monros” and “taking away the colors of the 79th New York regiment for mutiny”. The entire piece measures 16 1/2" x 11". It is ready to frame or display exactly how it is. There is some foxing on the edge of the paper but no damage near the image. It comes out of a collection of engravings that are mostly from the 1860's-1880's. Please look at the pictures of the actual piece and use your best judgement.
