Antique Pair Chinese Export Armorial Porcelain Sauce Gravy Boats Arms Of Tafford

Description

Offered without a reserve are a pair of antique Chinese export porcelain sauce boats both bearing the arms of Tafford impaling Mosely and with their motto's which shows wear. Both are in overall good condition. There is some minor loss to decoration from age and normal use. Both handles have a spot of glaze loss that you can view in my last picture. You will also notice a couple of rust colored lines in the same photo. I'm not sure if they are hair lines or just a flaw in the making. There are no chips or repairs. In picture 7 you can see a line. It is not a crack. It appears it happened in the making. Each measures 9 1/4" x 3 1/2" tall.
