Antique Vintage Chinese Japanese Carved Wood Rectangle Display Stand Base

This is an antique or vintage, Chinese or Japanese carved wood display stand.
I am uncertain as to exactly how old it is, but it definitely has good age. Please use your judgement.
It measures 4 5/8 inches tall (11.7 cm). The top measures 11 1/4 inches x 8 1/8 inches (28.6 cm x 20.6 cm). The part of the top you can actually use measures 9 1/2 inches x 6 1/2 inches (24.1 cm x 16.5 cm).
This could probably be used for a statue, vase, or bowl. The top is lighter around the middle, so I believe something roundish might have been on it. I’m not quite sure.
The piece has a couple of problems. The top has a number of age related cracks in the wood. Underneath, one of the legs is missing the small wooden corner piece to stabilize the leg. The leg is oh so slightly loose, but still sturdy. I believe the piece of long trim next to that leg was re-glued at some point as there is some glue on the bottom.
The stand is very slightly crooked.
Overall, it has a beautiful look to it.
It weighs a little under 1 lb. 6 oz. (618 g).
