VERY RARE N DERBY NASHVILLE FOOT OFFICERS SWORD RECORDED IN CHATTANOOGA GEORGIA AND NASHVILLE AS A MILITARY SUPPLIER     NO RECORDS AFTER 1862 OF HIS BUSINESS, BUT SHOWS IN BUSINESS 1862 TILL THE FALL OF NASHVILLE IN 1864
VERY VERY CLEAN MARKINGS WITH A CLAUBERG BLADE AND MILITARY MOTIFFS WITH FREAT FROSTING ON BOTH SIDES.
MR DERBY HAD HIS SHOP ON 86 CHURCH STREET IN NASVILLE ACCORDING TO EARLY NASHVILLE RECORDS    THESE SWORDS WERE PRIVATLEY PURCHASED FROM EUROPE AND INTO NEW JERSEY WHERE  MR DERBY PURCHASED FOR HIS TWO SHOPS.
THIS MODEL COULD BE PRE-CIVIL WAR   NO RECORDS EXSIST TO SUPPORT IT IN NASHVILLE PRE CIVIL WAR
COMPLETE BRASS MOUNTS AND DRAG    HAS BEEN USED DURING WAR DUE TO WEAR ON BOTTOM DRAG.
ACCORDING TO A SHILOH DEALER, HE HAS ONLY SEEN THREE OF THESE OVER HIS CAREER.
