    Description

Here's a real nice rare brass "Martingale Heart" ornament, worn on the chest straps of cavalry horses. It was dug on private land at the great cavalry battlefield of Trevilian Station, in Louisa County, Va. These came in various styles and sizes, and all are considered rare finds. The one is in very nice condition with a slight push down near the point. The attachment hook is long gone, as well. But, overall, it's a great looking piece and a must for a cavalry collection. They are highly sought after and command some crazy prices (see ebay). A great addition for any Civil War collection. Plmk if I can provide any further info or photos. I am happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever possible, as long as you wait for me to invoice you. Thanks for looking, and stay safe.
