Dug Nice Relic Group From the Battle of Salem Church- Spotsylvania, Va.

Description

Here's a nice group of relics dug many years ago around the battlefield of Salem Church during shopping center construction (like we needed another one). The battle was fought on the second day of Chancellorsville. Here's what was found:
1 Brass Bayonet Scabbard Tip
1 Iron Canteen Cork Stem
1 Enfield Brass Trigger Assembly
1 Brass Musket Tompion- bent when accidentally fired out of the weapon
1 Writing Pencil- made from bullet lead
1 Part of a Canteen Water Filter
1 Brass Sash Buckle Frame
1 Enfield Cartridge Box Finial
1 Large CS Type Brass "Flower" Button
1 Eagle Coat Button
1 CS Type Brass Flat Button
1 .58 Caliber 3-Ring Minie Bullet
1 .58 Caliber 3-Ring Minie Bullet
