Dug Nice Watch Fob From the Union Positions- The Wilderness Battlefield, Va.

Here's a real nice watch fob with Eagle coat button dug on private land around the Union right flank, north of the Orange Turnpike in the Wilderness battlefield. It's great looking with an unusual charm affixed to one end, that I'm not able to identify. It appears as if it may be some sort of fraternal emblem, but I can't say. I suppose this was a way for a soldier to have a spare coat button that could be used as a watch fob. It may have been lost during Gordon's flank attack on the Union right. A great looking item to add to your relic collection. Plmk if I can provide any further info or photos.
