The Magnavox MDR515H/F7 HDD & DVD Player / Recorder With Digital Tuner is a versatile DVD player and recorder with a built-in ATSC/NTSC tuner. With the 500 GB hard disk drive (HDD), you'll be able to play content from the hard drive, a DVD or CD, and also record onto the hard drive or a DVD and edit the content later.
With the MDR515H/F7, you could record a TV show to the hard drive, keep it there and delete commercials with the editing features, then save it to a DVD or simply keep it on the hard drive. It records up to 620 hours of programming (in SLP mode), and you can simply erase content when you're done with it. It also has one-touch recording (OTR) and 1-button dubbing, and while you're watching television programming you can simultaneously record additional content.
This recorder features HDMI 1080p upconversion, meaning you can enjoy crisp, clear picture quality if you also have an HDMI-enabled display. Since it is progressively scanned, this allows for a smoother picture quality than interlaced scan methods. And if you have MP3 files and JPEG photos saved to a CD or DVD disc, you can enjoy those too. Simply pop in the disc and you can hear your favorite music, or see your personal photos displayed on your TV screen in stunning high definition.
With the included fully functional remote control, adjustments can easily be made from the couch. You can even set a parental control lock if you have young kids to control playback of certain DVDs that might be inappropriate for them.
