(Leather Preservative)
Originally developed for the severe conditions endured by wild-land firefighters. Heavy Duty protects, preserves, and restores boots, saddles, motorcycle leathers, tool pouches, baseball gloves, and more. It provides industrial strength protection for leather that gets exposed to harsh environments.
Three natural oils are suspended in Beeswax and Propolis. In the leather these oils gradually seep out of the

Suspension Formula. If exposed to heat or flexing the oils are released faster so leather gets
oiled
when and where it needs it most instead of parched and cracked. This

Suspension Formula provides a time release lubrication to inner fibers, reinforces the surface against scuffing and abrasions, while still allowing the leather to breathe.
Obenauf’s Leather Oil
Use Obenauf’s Leather Oil for regular maintenance of leather items, especially when warm, dusty conditions are dehydrating your leathers. Our Leather Oil is a blend of natural oils, beeswax and propolis that extends the life of leather and rejuvenates neglected, dried, faded leather. Easier to apply than our Heavy Duty LP, it provides fast, convenient protection that also preserves and waterproofs. It’s Gentle on the leather, but remarkably tough in its preservation qualities. Our Leather Oil is your best protection for leather furniture, dress boots, saddles & tack, car & boat seats, RV seats & benches, motorcycle leathers (protects against dehydration, sun fading, and water), baseball gloves, work boots, holsters & scabbards, and much more.
Obenauf's Water Shield
Requests for a better water proofer to replace temporary and toxic aerosol sprays led to development of a safe, non-toxic, longer lasting spray for waterproofing non-leather and partial leather footwear such as hiking and hunting boots, work boots, gym shoes, etc. Water Shield’s higher silicone content lasts much longer than aerosol sprays. It also resists stains and enhances waterproofing on leather, but if used on leather it must be applied as an over coat to a preservative for complete and proper care of leather. As a surfactant it does not have the natural oils required to restore and preserve leather. Uses for Water Shield have grown and are still being discovered as it will virtually waterproof everything fabric, canvas, leather (even leather furniture), etc.
*Propolis
is an antibacterial resin from trees that resists bacteria and mold. It is a barrier against body acids, salt, and caustic chemicals. Combined with beeswax it will repel water better and longer.
