Pre Civil War/post war? hunting bag with gear (powderhorn,bullet molds,etc)

Description

Deerskin hunting bag. Bag measures 12 inches high and 10 inches wide.It has a  1 3/4 inch white metal star with some simple engraving on the flap. In the center there is an oval. It is worn and faint but has a date inside the oval of 1852.The hat pin looks old enough to be original to the bag, but  it may have been reapplied to the flap at a later date judging the condition of the thread on the inside of the bag. Found with the bag were 2 bullet molds(not sure of the caliber) a powderhorn with brass spout, a brass powder measure, and a 19th century fish hook tied to about an 8 ft. length of period string. It came from a Louisiana auction. Beautiful dark leather patina.There is considerable age on it.  Please review the photos as this type of item is not my area of expertise.
