Vintage Erphila Art Pottery Floral Cake Plate Made in Germany.
This elegant cake or serving plate is 11" in diameter. It has a colorful, floral star shape with a bouquet in the center. The outer part of the plate has an arched basket weave and the center is smooth. There is a gold leaf rim and a gold circle separating the 2 different textures. There is a bit of wear on the inner circle. I am assuming the flowered decoration was done by transfer and not hand painted. This plate was made as a cake plate but works well as a serving plate or even a plate to eat off of.
