Up for auction is a Gien vase made in 1989 to commemorate the bicentennial of the French Revolution. This vase decpicts two gentleman smoking tobacco and the phrase in French: Vive la Nation et le bon tabac. Translates to Long live the country and the good tobacco?! I honestly don't remember enough European history to understand the connection, but there it is. Stands about 8 1/2 inches tall.  NO chips, cracks or crazing. Made in France.
